Key Responsibilities:
- Apply scientific expertise across laboratory research, clinical trials, vaccine development, and bioinformatics.
- Support research activities in BSL-1 through BSL-4 and ABSL-1 through ABSL-4 environments, as required.
- Perform data analysis, computational biology, and high-throughput genomic and proteomic studies.
- Contribute to animal research, including model selection, procedural support, and adherence to NIH Animal Care and Use Program standards.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation to support research outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with NIH personnel and external partners, including international stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with all security, medical, and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a scientific, technical, or clinical discipline; advanced degrees preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting laboratory or clinical research, ideally in high-containment or technically complex environments.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- U.S. work authorization and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with the NIH or comparable research institutions.
- Background in vaccine development, infectious disease research, or clinical trials.
- Knowledge of federal research regulations and compliance standards.
Additional Information:
- Candidates may be required to obtain security clearances and complete health, safety, and medical surveillance requirements.
- This role may require periodic travel and on-site work at NIH facilities.
