Position Overview
A new health-tech startup in the personalized genomics and longevity space is seeking a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with genomics training to join our team. This role combines clinical nutrition expertise with functional genomics to deliver personalized wellness coaching to our clients.
You will serve as the face of our brand—educating clients, conducting virtual coaching sessions, and guiding them through our comprehensive health portal and testing services. Your nutrition background combined with genomics knowledge will enable you to translate complex genetic data into actionable dietary and lifestyle recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual coaching sessions covering genomics, nutrigenomics, epigenetics, lifestyle factors, and overall wellness
- Lead introduction sessions to onboard new clients into our program
- Master and clearly explain our genetic reports, testing methodologies, and health assessments
- Provide personalized nutrition guidance, supplementation recommendations, and lifestyle modifications based on genetic and epigenetic data
- Guide clients through our health portal, ensuring they understand how to access and interpret their information
- Educate clients on additional services including lab work (via Quest Diagnostics) and biological age testing
- Represent the company as a trusted authority in the functional genomics and longevity space
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) through BCNS, OR Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through CDR
- Certification or formal training in genomics, nutrigenomics, or genetic interpretation (e.g., The DNA Company, Genomic Solutions Now, Apeiron Academy, or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of how genetic variants influence nutrient metabolism, methylation, detoxification, and dietary responses
- Ability to translate complex genetic and nutrition concepts into accessible, client-friendly language
- Experience conducting virtual coaching or telehealth sessions
- Exceptional communication skills with a charismatic, personable demeanor
- Comfortable presenting via video conferencing platforms
- Professional home office setup suitable for client-facing video calls
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the direct-to-consumer (DTC) genetics or wellness industry
- Background in functional medicine or integrative nutrition
- Experience with genetic testing platforms or personalized health services
- Familiarity with supplements, longevity science, and biological age optimization
- Knowledge of epigenetics and how lifestyle factors influence gene expression

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
