We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and contributing to innovative projects.y and optical sciences.
12-hour shifts
Duties:
- Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.
- Conduct laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and consistency.
- Manage laboratory workflows, including sample preparation, data collection, and documentation.
- Maintain strict compliance with quality assurance protocols.
- Support laboratory management by organizing inventory, calibrating instruments, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing laboratory efficiency and product quality.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and stand for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds for work.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Experience
- Proven experience working within a laboratory environment.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and quality assurance practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage laboratory workflows efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety
