Hoag Health, Orange County's top-ranked healthcare system is seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist to support our growing Oncology program!
Hoag’s multidisciplinary team of experts provides streamlined access to the full array of advanced cancer diagnosis and treatment options. The multi-disciplinary team consists of board-certified, medical oncologists, Nurse Practitioners and tenured support staff to ensure patients receive the highest quality of care.
The Hoag Family Cancer Institute has two primary campuses in Newport Beach and Irvine, CA, with a clinic also located in Huntington Beach. We have a beautiful. state of the art hospital that is being built a dedicated Cancer center opening in 2026.
Compensation:
- Competitive compensation package: Base salary + productivity bonus potential

Details:
- Full time position. Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Would be treating both malignant and benign conditions
- Clinic locations are in Newport Beach, Irvine and Huntington Beach, CA
- Dedicated Support staff and administrative support. Including APP's, MA's. front office, schedulers and clinic administrators
- Hoag participates in clinical trials and we welcome physicians who have interest in participating in research and development
- Physicians are encouraged to participate in Tumor Boards, case discussions, and on-going professional education with a collaborative Physician team within the program
- Hoag has a robust team of Medical Oncologists that support all aspect of medical oncology across all specialties
Requirements:
- Must have or be eligible for California State Medical licensure
- Doctor of Medicine Degree and American Board Certified in Oncology and Fellowship trained in Hematology/Oncology.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a medical oncologist specializing in breast
- Must be well versed in the latest clinical research of state of cancer care for breast oncology
- Active as a principal investigator in all phases of clinical research for breast cancer.
- A passion for providing excellent clinical care and excellent communication skills and interest in working in a collaborative / team-oriented environment are a must.
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Hoag Hospital
