Entry Level Histology/Mohs Technician

Employees are trained in a specialized field of histology to work specifically with Mohs surgeons performing Mohs micrographic surgery. Our office is located in Downers Grove looking for candidate located near our northern/northwest suburb clients.
Job Requirements An AS or BS degree in the sciences or equivalent science coursework** - copies of transcripts/degrees to be provided and kept on file.Valid driver license, copy of full driving record from the DMV with DMV seal on it.Eligibility to work in the United States.

**Candidates without an AS or BS in the sciences will be considered for an interview following the submission of transcripts if they meet either of the following requirements (A or B):
A: Completed 60 hours of semester units from an accredited institution that includes either -1: 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or (like a nursing degree of some kind)-or--2: 24 semester hours of science courses made up of six semester hours of chemistry, six semester hours of biology, and twelve semester hours of chemistry, biology, and med lab technology courses
B: Completion of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by the NHS, the ASCP or other organization approved by HHS.--ie a histotechnician or histotechnologist program.
