We are a fast-paced, fee-for-service dental organization who focuses on providing high quality comprehensive dental care to every patient.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Removable Dental Lab Technician to join our dental lab team in the Jacksonville, FL area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating removable dental prosthetics, such as dentures, partial dentures, and other removable devices, ensuring they meet the required specifications and are of the highest quality. Travel to different lab locations may be required. Weekend hours may be required.
Job Description:
- Fabricate and repair removable dental prosthetics, including full dentures, partial dentures, implant supported dentures, relines, and repairs.
- Collaborate with prescribing dentists and other lab professionals to provide excellent care and service to patients.
- Perform tasks such as pouring impressions, trimming models, setting teeth, and adjusting dentures.
- Perform routine repairs and adjustments to dentures and other removable appliances as needed.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, making sure prosthetics are precise and meet all patient requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Knowledge of Ivoclar IVOBASE (required)
- Knowledge of Digital Denture design (preferred)
- CDT Certification (preferred)
- 3D Printing and or Milling experience (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in a dental lab, especially in fabricating removable prosthetics.
- Experience making and fabricating implant supported dentures (highly desired)
- Proficient in the use of dental lab equipment such as lathes, grinders, and other specialized tools.
- Strong understanding of dental materials and techniques used in the fabrication of removable devices.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work without supervision
- Must be able to effectively prioritize and manage work schedule
