Essential Duties
- Assist faculty by using bioinformatics techniques to analyze the genome of a strain of Aeromonas hydrophila.
- Work with faculty to learn new computer programs as needed, including Python, R, and Bash scripting.
Minimum Qualifications
- Student must have experience in general biology and bioinformatics or equivalent coursework (BSB 151, BSB 485 Microbial Genomics) .
- Student must be able to understand and follow instruction.
- Student must be available from May 5 – August 10.
- Student must have computer/internet access.
