Coordinates the pre-award planning, organization, and preparation, and the post-award administration of various grants assigned to one or more research and/or clinical departments. Interacts with investigators and administrative staff to ensure that grants are in compliance with regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements. Provides guidance and support to investigators in the identification and development of grant opportunities.
All remote work must be performed within one of the MCW-registered payroll states, which currently includes: WI, AZ, FL, IL, IN, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, TN, TX, GA, DE , and UT.
Assists administrative staff and research team in the creation, negotiation, and administration of grants, contracts, and research proposals.
Knowledge of economics, accounting, mathematics, administration, English language, law, government, and human resources.
Work requires resource management, mathematics, problem solving, coordinating work activities, critical thinking, systems analysis, operations analysis, time management, writing, active listening, and active learning skills.
Speech clarity, speech recognition, finger dexterity, and wrist-finger speed while operating computers abilities required.
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree - Finance or Health Services
Minimum Required Experience: 4 years of experience
Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.

Target salary range for this position is between $64,300.00 and $81,400.00 annually. The final offered salary will depend on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and knowledge, as well as considerations of internal equity and market alignment.
