Seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with career focused interest in Cancer Care along with the following:
- Experience in office clinic or hospital level cancer care of equal merit.
- Certification as Oncology RN a plus, but not required
- Open to new graduates with career focused interest in Cancer Care
- Proven history of excellence in both the application of clinical knowledge/skills and ability to establish and maintain positive rapport with patients and their families.
Scope of practice includes:
- Seeing established patients in office-based clinic
- Average of 14 to 16 patients per day
- FT, M - F, 8 am to 6 pm; 9 hr clinic days offers one day off each week
- Rotates after hours call M – Th with other AP providers; Phone call only , 5PM-8AM. (Does not include holidays).
- In exchange for covering an average of 4 days of call per month, will pay up to $100 per month towards cell phone expenses.
- Any excess call will be paid according to Advocate Excess Call/Shift standards
